iROCKSAYS

Growing up on the westside of Detroit, the culture of music has always intrigued Kyle Adams who is now professionally known as iRocksays. At the age of thirteen, he would write songs and regularly sneak to use his older brother's production equipment. As a result this piqued the interest of his family and after a few conversations with the young visionary, decided to buy him the production software FLStudio, and thus begins our story.

In his early years of making music, he connected with neighborhood friends to form a production team. The team grew together creatively and built a local following that has assisted iRock’s ascension into who he is today. Things got serious for iRock in 2010, when he and members of the team entered and nearly won the Red Bull-sponsored Big Tune Beat Battle, prevailing over 17 of some of the most talented producers in the world. The attention that followed this success put iRock on the radar of many individuals in the music industry, both locally and nationally, including Detroit Hip-Hop Pioneer and former Shady Records artist Obie Trice. Their meeting led to iRock producing five records on Obie’s 2012 release “Bottoms Up” and subsequently traveling on tour as a sound engineer and DJ.

Over the years through hard work and consistency, iRock has seen steady growth on his social media platforms and has positioned himself as one of the go-to producers in his region. iRock has worked with the likes of Dej Loaf, Big Sean, Future, Dave East, James Poyser of The Roots, Nicole Bus and a extensive list of other artists. iRock is RIAA Certified Platinum producing hits “Back Up" featuring Big Sean and "Hey There" featuring Future from her project “AndSeeThatsTheThing". His sound and production style know no boundaries due largely to his many influences and musical tastes. Amidst all these accomplishments and achievements, he remains a humble man and conscious of the fact there are no limitations to his future.
